DESCRIPTION:Perfect for the busy professional or parent that wants to learn self defense quickly. Modern Defense and Combatives is a monthly\,  personal protection\, self defense class for those interested in learning how to protect themselves and their loved ones without committing to a traditional martial art. ‘What if’\, and current crisis events in the news are regularly explored\, with simple\, practical techniques\, tactics and practices provided. Grappling\, anti-rape\, anti-bullying\, anti-robbery and anti-assault scenarios are commonly taught in a variety of scenarios. Improvised weapons and counter car jacking are covered.  No special uniform or memberships are required. Psychological and physiological phenomena that are naturally occurring in a live threatening crisis are explained and responses utilized that augment one’s response in crisis. Tuition is monthly. Safe\, fun and highly informative. Beginners welcome. \nEvery Wednesday evening 7:30-9:00PM \n
