DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Handgun: This course continues development of the serious handgun operator via positional shooting with students able to engage targets out to 50 yards. \nCourse provides continued proficiency training in Basic Handgun techniques and adds kneeling and prone firing positions\, failure-to-stop drills\, lateral moves\, multiple targets and shooting from position three. Students will have the opportunity to qualify on a pistol qualification course of fire. \nIntermediate Handgun provides training and live fire practice on the use of tactical flashlights. This gives the students the essential skill of threat identification and engagement under conditions of low light or no light. \nPrerequisite: Basic Handgun or previous equivalent training. \n  \n
